TekQuesting the Day

This year we were very excited to be partnering with theTekQuest.

TEK Quest is a Technology Summer Camp that seeks to introduce kids with disabilities to the wonders of assistive technology through our E3 Philosophy. By providing children of all backgrounds and abilities with assistive technology, we are able to empower them with the knowledge they need to be independent in their everyday lives.

The August-Richmond County Library was chosen not only a central location for our campers in the CSRA, but it also has a variety of spaces and resources available for us to utilize during TEK Quest. We were honored to be a part of the program in two ways: 1) as the location where the event was held, and 2) our GLASS Team was also a partner.

Georgia Library for Accessible Statewide Services (GLASS) supports accessible library services in Georgia by promoting the use of assistive technology and by providing accessible reading materials to those who, due to a disability, are unable to read standard print. We are excited to have them a part of TEK Quest as their programs are valuable for all of our campers.
