The “Math Mania” tutoring program offered at Augusta-Richmond County Public Library’s headquarters on Telfair Street. About 15 tutors volunteer each week. Currently, 56 children come twice a week to be tutored, while more than 100 are on the waiting list for the Math Mania program. Each kid in Math Mania receives one-on-one tutoring for 50 minutes biweekly.
Although the program has only been offered for seven months, data has already proved the success of Math Mania.
